Emotions such as anger, sadness, fear and joy are a part of the experience of life and have right place, yet very often, they are denied or suppressed in the presence of guilt. The phrase, “feeling guilty”, is often used and is present in much of the dramas of our lives as women. What I have come to know, feel and understand is that the presence of guilt is a strong indicator that emotions are being denied and suppressed. At this point, the stage is set for the likelihood of dis-ease to manifest.
